The Reliant Robin see navigating the canal at the 217 rally has been featured in the national media and is now set to sail on a fund raising voyage and competition from West Stockwith up the Chesterfield Canal to Worksop. If everything goes to plan Jim Walker will be sailing the 26 miles passing through 16 locks on the 1st of April 1995. Members and friends of the society are invited to sponsor the voyage and then will be able to estimate the time the voyage will take to reach several points along the route. Prizes will be awarded for the nearest estimates. Full details and sponsorship forms in the next issue of Cuckoo.
